Katy Ibarra is an attorney deeply committed to professional excellence and community service. A proud native of Hunt County, Katy earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce before attending Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she graduated Cum Laude. During her time at Liberty, Katy was an active member of both the Trial and Negotiation Teams, refining her litigation and conflict resolution skills. She competed in prestigious events such as the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition, the Professional Football Negotiation Competition, and the American Bar Association's National Arbitration Competition. In 2024, Katy achieved First Place in her region and Second Place nationally in the ABA Arbitration Competition, showcasing her exceptional abilities in alternative dispute resolution. Outside of her legal practice, Katy is dedicated to supporting families and strengthening her local community, bringing a compassionate, client-centered approach to every case she handles.
