Texas Law Help is a user friendly website that covers all specialties in the field of law. It includes easy to follow instructions, articles, and forms to fill out. 

*If you are indigent, which means you can not afford an attorney or the filing fees, you can fill out an affidavit of indigency and the court will waive the filing fees for divorce, child support matters, and child custody issues. 

The local district attorney's website has information regarding the Texas Victim's Crime fund and includes a protective order application. Remember, filling out this form does not mean you have a protective order or that the judge will grant a protective order. It is the beginning form to fill out.
